Registered Nurse RN PCU Telemetry Night Shift

Registered Nurse – Progressive Care

Nights — 3x12s (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), 36 hours/week; weekdays and some weekends; every other weekend.

Estimated patient ratios: 1:3–5 (typical ~1:4).

Minimum 2 years RN experience required.

Cardiac/IV insulin drip (GTT) experience preferred.

BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Epic experience required.

Telemetry/PCU/stepdown care skills.

IV starts and peripheral line management.

Dysrhythmia recognition/management.

Oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway support experience.

Participation in rapid response/code teams.

Provide direct patient care using evidence-based practices.

Monitor patient condition and vital signs, making necessary assessments.

Administer medications and treatments per established protocols.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Document care provided and patient response accurately.

Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Orientation: 24 hours; strict credentialing deadline prior to start; RTO required with submission.
