Phlebotomist - Phlebotomy Services
$17.75 - $27.69 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Reno patient service center to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide customer service. The position works Monday-Friday plus rotating Saturdays, with opportunities for growth within a global diagnostics leader.
Responsibilities
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses
Accurately enter patient information and maintain specimen logs
Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
Provide superior customer service and handle administrative duties as needed
Requirements
Nevada state-issued laboratory assistant license or filed application at time of hire
Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven track record in exceptional customer service
Ability to work independently or in team environment with minimal supervision
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
One or more years phlebotomy experience (preferred)
Compensation: $17.75 - $27.69 per hour
