Come and help us build and shape the future of Step as a top-tier fintech company.Own the full recruiting lifecycle for non-technical roles (e.g., G&A, Operations, Marketing, People, Finance) — from intake to offerWork directly with Step's leadership team on recruiting strategy to attract and hire top talentDrive a variety of sourcing tools to engage passive talent, in addition to owning inbound application bucketsScreen resumes and conduct initial phone screens to assess candidates against role requirements and company valuesCreate a white-glove candidate experience for all candidates who engage in the recruiting processYou might thrive in this role if you have:3+ years of recruiting experience working in a dynamic, fast-growing companyCare deeply about the experience of every candidate, no matter the outcomePassionate about getting to know each candidate's background and motivations to align with the company's hiring needsCollaborate well as a partner with hiring managers across departmentsHands-on experience making AI part of how you work — you already use AI tools daily to build faster and go deeper, you've automated real pieces of your own workflow, and you have a point of view on where AI can transform recruitingA demonstrated ability to take full ownership of a workstream and drive it independently from question to decision, without significant supervisionThe ability to bring structure to ambiguous problems and thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving environmentAn enthusiastic "roll up your sleeves" mentality — you act as an owner and move with urgencySweat the details to master your craft in recruitingLogisticsLocation: Remote, Hybrid, Bay AreaEducation: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceVisa Sponsorship: We are unable to sponsor employment visas for this role at this time; Step is a remote-first company building banking for the next generation.
