Food Pantry & Care Navigation Program ManagerThe Denver Inner City Parish, Inc.Programs/ServicesSalary: $62,000 - $65,000Title: The Food Pantry & Care Navigation Program ManagerFSLA Classification: Fulltime / ExemptReports to: Deputy DirectorRole Summary: The Food Pantry & Care Navigation Program Manager is responsible for the overall management, operations, and continuous improvement of Denver Inner City Parish's Food Pantry and Care Navigation Programs. This position oversees on-site and mobile food pantry operations, food procurement and distribution, care navigation and basic needs service distribution, staff and volunteer supervision, program data systems, grant reporting, and community outreach.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Management & Supervision:Oversee daily and administrative operations of DICP's food pantry and care navigation programs, including developing and maintaining program policies and procedures.Supervise, coordinate, and support food pantry and care navigation staff and volunteersMaintain a welcoming, respectful, culturally responsive, and community-centered environment for participants, volunteers, and staff.Food Pantry Operations:Manage food purchasing, ordering, procurement, pickups, deliveries, inventory, storage, and distribution.Ensure food purchasing and distribution practices consider nutrition, cultural preferences, participant needs, and food safety compliance with applicable partners.Care Navigation & Community Resources:Maintain, order, and support program supply distributionRefer participants to community services and assist with applications for public benefits, such as SNAP and Energy Outreach Colorado utility bill assistance.Maintain relationships with community organizations and service providersPlan and support outreach events and community-based programming.Grants, Reporting & Program Development:Support grant writing, funding proposals, and other applications related to food pantry and care navigation programming.Prepare grant reports, program narratives, outcome summaries, and supporting documentation.Data Management & Evaluation:Maintain program databases and data systems and oversee data quality.Develop reports and analyze program data to monitor participation and outcomes.Use participant feedback and program data to identify opportunities for program improvement.Communications, Outreach & Partnerships:Manage food pantry and care navigation communications and outreach, including social media content, website updates, flyers, and program materials.Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, food suppliers, healthcare and social service providers, funders, and other partners.Represent DICP at relevant community meetings, trainings, partner events, and collaborative initiatives.Respond to program-related emails, phone calls, and requests in a timely and professional manner.Participate in organizational meetings, trainings, events, and planning activities.Ability to manage multiple programs, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong written communication skills, including experience with reports, grants, or public-facing communications.Comfort working with databases, spreadsheets, and program tracking systems.Ability to use program data and community feedback to inform decision-making.Multilingual ability, particularly English/Spanish and/or Chinese, preferred.Warehouse-like setting including walk-in refrigeration and box trucks with lift gatesDICP is a small, fast-paced, community-facing organization.
