Litigation Law Paralegal

Rahnama Law is hiring an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal who can handle personal injury litigation from A–Z.

We’re looking for someone who knows litigation inside and out and can take ownership of a case from the moment it enters litigation through settlement or trial.

This is not an entry-level position. We need an experienced, organized, and proactive paralegal who can manage a litigation caseload independently, stay ahead of deadlines, and keep cases moving without needing to be constantly reminded of the next step.

What You’ll Handle

Manage personal injury litigation files from A–Z

Draft complaints, answers, motions, pleadings, and other court filings

Prepare and respond to written discovery, including interrogatories, RFPs, and RFAs

Coordinate and prepare for depositions, mediations, IMEs, and expert examinations

Calendar and independently track court deadlines, discovery deadlines, and hearings

E-file and serve documents in state and federal courts

Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, medical providers, and court personnel

Obtain and organize medical records, bills, evidence, and litigation documents

Prepare mediation and settlement materials

Assist attorneys with trial preparation, exhibits, witness files, and trial binders

Maintain organized and accurate case files

Identify problems before they become problems and keep attorneys updated on case status

Push cases forward from filing through resolution

Who We’re Looking For

We want someone who has real plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience and understands what it takes to move a case.

The ideal candidate:

Has several years of hands‑on litigation paralegal experience

Can independently manage a high-value litigation caseload

Has strong knowledge of California civil procedure and litigation deadlines

Is excellent at drafting discovery and litigation documents

Is extremely organized and detail‑oriented

Works well in a fast‑paced environment

Takes ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do

Communicates professionally with clients and attorneys

Can prioritize multiple cases and deadlines at once

Is comfortable working closely with trial attorneys

Filevine experience is strongly preferred.

Spanish‑speaking is a plus.

Plaintiff‑side personal injury experience is strongly preferred.
