Civil Construction Engineering I

We design some of the most complex facilities being constructed today from conceptualization through construction support. Project delivery strategies include design/bid/build, design build, and Integrated Project Delivery, and are often highly collaborative with the client, general contractor, and trade partners. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Intermediate level Civil Engineer based out of San Antonio or Austin, TX. As a Civil Engineering Professional, part of our Cities and Places team, you will be an integral member of the design team. You will have the opportunity to perform site civil engineering analysis and design for a wide range of projects locally, nationally, and around the world, producing technical reports, construction drawings and technical specifications. Specific Civil design efforts will entail assessing site features and creating site layouts, designing utilities systems and pavements, grading and drainage, stormwater management and erosion & sediment control. Additionally, your expertise will be leveraged to develop project drawing and technical specification deliverables during design, as well as services during construction support during construction phases of work.

Minimum of 2 years relevant professional experience for infrastructure, building/facilities-related site civil design projects.

Strong background in plan production and project execution while leading design teams.

Construction support services experience

Professional Engineering Licensure (P.AutoCAD Civil3D design experience.

Experience developing labor budgets for civil engineering design efforts.

Project management experience.

Practical hands-on experience and/or construction support.

Experience with alternate delivery (Design-Build, CMAR/CM-GC and/or EPC projects)
