RN / Perioperative Nursing Job in D

Overview: This role is for an Operating Room (OR) Charge Nurse (RN) responsible for coordinating departmental activities within a clinic unit.

Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate OR functions, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Act as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and customer service.

Develop and implement plans to meet regulatory standards and quality benchmarks.

Train, mentor, and supervise staff including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, overseeing patient care quality.

Provide direct patient care following established standards and oversee the appropriateness and effectiveness of care.

Manage daily staffing decisions, participating in orientation and competency assessments for staff.

Address customer service issues and implement performance improvement measures.

Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 2+ years of clinical nursing experience in an OR setting.

Registered Nurse license in the state, CPR, and ACLS certification (PALS preferred).

Effective communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to manage high-stress situations.

Preferred: BSN, management experience, specialty certification, and ACLS within six months if not already obtained.
