Specialization: Emergency Medicine
Qualified Candidates
Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine via the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM)
OR Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with three years of Emergency Medicine experience. ABPS BCEM encouraged to apply.
ACLS and PALS required

9,000 ER visits per year (25 patients per day)
12 emergency room bays, including a fully equipped Trauma bay
Separate pediatric waiting area, triage, and a dedicated bay
State of the art imaging on-site, including CT, ultrasound, and X‑ray
About HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital
Opened in 2013, HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is a four‑story, 177,000 sq. ft. hospital with 94 private beds, a 12‑bed private ICU, and 31‑bed emergency department. We provide a full range of acute care services including emergency services, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging, inpatient and outpatient surgery, cardiac catheterization, laboratory, pharmacy, and a full range of support services. Our ED is approximately 19,500 sq. ft. and consists of 31 private treatment rooms, an EMS entrance, and a helicopter pad.
