Job Description: Responsible for ownership of all legal entity accounting and financial reporting across global Peloton. Manage and oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end and year-end close processes. Ensure proper accounting policies and procedures are followed, in accordance with accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS) and internal controls. Oversee the preparation and consolidation of global financial statements and ensure compliance with US GAAP (or relevant local accounting standards). Lead the financial forecasting process, providing accurate forecasts for cash flow, revenue, and expenses. Oversee cash flow management, ensuring the company has the liquidity to meet its operational and capital needs. Develop strategies for optimizing working capital and managing financial risks.Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and manage the firm’s annual budget, ensuring alignment with company goals.Monitor budget performance and provide analysis of variances, along with recommendations for corrective actions when necessary.Manage banking relationships and monitor cash balances, ensuring funds are available for daily operations. Lead and contribute to internal projects to improve ERP reporting and functionalities for the Finance team. Telecommuting is permitted for this role, with at least one (1) day in the Boston office required per week. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, a related field, or foreign equivalent. Employer will accept a 3- or 4-year Bachelor’s degree.Five (5) years of work experience as an accountant or financial controller. Five (5) years of experience with owning general ledgers and completing financial statements.
