Physical Therapist (PT) - Weekends

$Candidate will receive an additional 40% of their hourly rate in addition to their base rate when working weekend hours. Francis Medical Center is a level 1 trauma center and certified Stroke Center. Our PT team helps manage the patient needs throughout our 650+ bed adult hospital and cover all floors including general medical, intermediate, and intensive care units. Our team functions in units or groups working with fellow therapists from all disciplines to manage the needs across 1-3 units and focus our care on providing recommendations and assisting with discharge planning. We have ~70 people in our department including PT, OT, SLP, and rehab techs and all work closely together to meet the needs of our patients.
The Physical Therapist assists patients in the restoration of physical function through evaluation and treatment.
Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy

*Those who were licensed prior to 2016 are exempt from this requirement as grandfathered under prior IDFPR or MBPT requirement for licensure (which allowed bachelor's/master's degree; Respective state license in Physical Therapy or has graduated successfully from a professional program, is in receipt of Authorization to Test Letter, is scheduled to test within 60 days of eligibility, and has not failed the licensure exam. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Previous experience as a Physical Therapist
Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the population served.
Analytical ability to evaluate patients' physical and functional status, establish therapy goals, formulate treatment plans consistent with goals, observe patients and document status, and assist techs and assistants in resolving problems.
Excellent computer skills and the ability to process detailed information in an accurate manner.
