Patient Transporter - Hospital Services

The Patient Transporter is responsible for the safe and timely transport of SRALab inpatients to and from scheduled appointments to internal departments/clinics within the hospital. Transports inpatients to external appointments at nearby partner hospitals/clinics locally.
The Patient Transporter is effectively the lone liaison of SRALab for patients and family during the transport sequence.

Rendezvous with nursing/admin staff, patients and family members at designated pick-up/drop-off points to transport
Transports patient via wheelchairs, beds, stretchers to appointments internally Actively engages patients and family during transport
Conducts return transport procedures, confirming proper handoff to nursing unit staff
Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following all policies and procedures.
For External Transport using a hospital vehicle:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Strong customer skills
Able to safely drive and fully operate an ADA-configured full-size van [Ford E-350] in an enclosed garage environment and dense, urban vehicular traffic.
Basic Computer skills Successful completion of transporter orientation
Normal office environment with little or no exposure to dust or extreme temperature.
Actual compensation will be determined by equity and qualifications of the role.
