Orthopedic Trauma Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)
We are looking for a dedicated Ortho Trauma, Specialty Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our Fairfax team. This role will be full-time from Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 4:00 (4 day work week, no nights, no weekends).

Orthopedic Trauma Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) Job Responsibilities:
The Orthopedic Trauma Advanced Practice Provider (APP) functions as a key member of the orthopedic trauma team, providing comprehensive care to patients with musculoskeletal injuries. The APP will collaborate with attending orthopedic surgeons, residents, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across the continuum – including the emergency department, operating room, inpatient units, and outpatient clinics.

Level 1 Trauma Center: Document care in the EMR, complete inpatient discharges, and ensure appropriate follow-up.
Educate patients, families, and support training of residents or students as needed.
Maintain licensure, certifications, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Participate in fracture conferences, M&M presentations, journal clubs, and research sessions along residents and attendings
Primarily inpatient coverage with limited outpatient coverage of clinic
Orthopedic Trauma Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) Minimum Requirements:

Work Schedule: Full-Time, 4 days per week, 10 hour shifts
Masters Degree and Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
Payer Credentialing: Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor
Medical Staff Credentialing: Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services
1+ year experience of Ortho Trauma APP experience
