Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery/OB-GYN position requiring 2 years of labor experience and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification.

Details

Work in an 8-bed LDRP/OB-GYN combined unit on the third floor

Shift runs 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with every other weekend required

Patient population includes labor/delivery and GYN patients

Follows AWHONN patient ratio standards

Uses Cerner EHR

No call requirements

Possible floating as helping hands to other units

Requirements

Active RN license (NC or Compact) required

Current Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required

Minimum 2 years of labor experience required

Associate's degree required

LDRP experience preferred

AHA certifications required

Additional Information

Provide nursing care to laboring patients and GYN patients within an LDRP setting

Navy scrubs required for C-section procedures, supplied by the hospital

Facility includes Level 3 NICU and Women's Center services

Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate

Local candidates within 60 miles considered at local rate

Candidates cannot have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months

Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time

First-time travelers may be considered
