Job Details An established and highly regarded South Florida law firm is seeking an experienced Complex Litigation Paralegal to join its West Palm Beach office and support attorneys handling sophisticated litigation and dispute-resolution matters. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigation paralegal who enjoys substantive casework, takes ownership of deadlines and case management, and wants meaningful exposure to complex litigation from inception through trial or resolution. What You'll Do: Manage litigation matters from case inception through trial, settlement or other resolution Prepare, organize and maintain pleadings, motions, discovery, exhibits and other litigation documents Coordinate discovery and assist with document collection, review and production Support attorneys with depositions, hearings, mediations and trial preparation Assist with eDiscovery and electronically stored information (ESI) workflows Maintain accurate physical and electronic case files Monitor litigation deadlines, court dates and case calendars Prepare deposition materials, witness files, exhibits, chronologies and trial materials Coordinate with attorneys, clients, witnesses, vendors, courts and other professionals Assist with electronic court filings and other litigation-related filings Track case activity and billable time Provide high-level substantive and administrative support to attorneys Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive client and case information What We're Looking For: 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience Experience supporting complex litigation matters from inception through trial or settlement Strong understanding of litigation procedures, pleadings, discovery and court filings Experience with eDiscovery and ESI workflows Excellent organizational and deadline-management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to independently manage multiple matters and competing priorities Strong Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat proficiency Florida Notary Public Bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate or equivalent relevant experience preferred Preferred Experience: Complex commercial litigation Business disputes Federal and state court litigation Trial preparation Depositions Document-intensive litigation Electronic document review iManage Coyote The Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate is a seasoned litigation paralegal who can step into a sophisticated practice and become a true extension of the attorneys they support.
