Head of Remote Assistance Operations

Summary This position is located at Departmental Offices, Terrorism and Financial Intelligence - Intelligence and Analysis. As an OPERATIONS OFFICER, you will serve as an Operations Officer for the Office of Intelligence and Analysis (OIA). Responsibilities Pursuant to 50 USC 3024 (v), and with concurrence and consultation with the Director of National Intelligence and the Director of the Office of Personnel Management, this position is being established in the excepted service as an element of the Intelligence Community within the Department of the Treasury. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position. As an Operations Officer, you will: Work with appropriate department staff to ensure that OIA facilities meet OIA's needs. Coordinates office moves, construction of new facilities and other issues regarding OIA office space as needed. Identify, analyze, design, and manage project requirements as it relates to facilities and strategic space allocation. Assist in developing programs and strategies to address administrative problems impeding OIA operations. Must have, or be able to obtain and maintain, a Top Secret security clearance based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI). Independently performing analytical duties in support of planning, development, evaluation and decision-making affecting administrative and operational aspects of office-wide operations; AND - Providing advice and assistance on overall division management matterssuch as work-flow, records management, training, and/or enhanced document production; AND - Providing advice and recommendations to upper-level management on personnel, human resources, administrative, and organizational issues related to mission requirements. Demonstrated working experience independently performing analyticalduties in support of planning, development, evaluation and decision -making affecting administrative and operational aspects of office-wide operations; AND - Providing advice and assistance on overall division management matterssuch as work-flow, records management, training, and/or enhanced document production; AND - Assisting in the development of programs or policies to support administrative and operational processes. Performing analytical duties in support of the planning and development of administrative or operational aspects of a program; AND - Analyzing problems and providing recommendations/communications to management; AND - Providing guidance to upper-level management on personnel, human resources, and administrative issues related to mission requirements. OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; Options for qualifying based on a combination will be identified in the online questions. Only graduate level education in excess of the first 36 semester hours (54 quarter hours) may be combined to be considered for qualifying education. Performing analytical duties in support of the administrative and personnel/staffing aspects of a program; AND - Providing assistance to management on personnel, human resources, and administrative issues related to mission requirements. Master's or equivalent graduate degree; OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; Options for qualifying based on a combination will be identified in the online questions. Only graduate level education in excess of the first 18 semester hours (27 quarter hours) may be combined to be considered for qualifying education. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service.. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
