Head of Facility Management

Facility ManagerWe have an opportunity for a Facility Manager at our distribution center in West Jefferson, OH. As a Facility Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing distribution center maintenance functions. The Facility Manager role is essential in executing Ace's operational initiatives while fostering a collaborative team environment in a service-oriented culture.What You'll DoLead, support and encourage Ace Values: Winning, Excellence, Love, Integrity, Gratitude, Humility and Teamwork.Budgetary responsibilities for all building-related departments.Lead the facility in LP/FM best practice understanding and compliance, safety awareness, training and HSE practices.Responsible for accurate and legally compliant federal, state and local regulatory recordkeeping and reporting.Responsible for emergency management and disaster plans, working in conjunction with corporate Loss Prevention.Primary responsibility for CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) for all maintenance activities on a daily basis.Flexible to deal with issues that arise outside of normal business hours.This is our number one priority, and we will support programs and initiatives that focus on this commitment. Bachelor's Degree, with 5 or more years' experience in facility management.Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership, and coordination of people and resources.Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures and strategies to promote effective security operations for the protection of people, property, and at time, information or data.Certifications such as Certified Occupational Safety Specialist, Certified Safety Professional, or Certified Facility Manager are preferred.Strong project management skills; prefer certification in Project Management.Well versed in technical engineering operations as it relates to repairs/renovations or opening new facility.Strong interpersonal skillsCommunication skills, both verbal and writtenProficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.Ability and willingness to work non-traditional shifts and hours.They represent our commitment to the company, our employees, to Ace retailers and to the Ace brand.Semi-Monthly PayIncentive opportunities, based on role/grade level (rapid company growth over the past 5 years resulted in incentives being paid out at an average of 122% of your target opportunity!)18 days of vacation immediately available (prorated in the first year) and up to 9 paid holidays depending on the month of hireComprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, vision and disability – up to 26 weeks short-term disability and long-term disability) & life insurance benefits for you and your dependentsGenerous 401(k) retirement savings plan with a fully vested matching contribution for the first year in addition to quarterly contributions and annual discretionary contribution (once eligibility requirements have been met).
