Location: Hybrid, Chicago, IL
Mission: This role provides critical support to attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial and resolution.
Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Filevine or comparable case management software
What You’ll Actually Do Draft: Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery requests and responses.
Manage: Organize and maintain case files, discovery materials, medical records, and litigation deadlines.
Research: Conduct legal and factual research and prepare summaries for attorneys.
Coordinate: Schedule and coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and other litigation‑related events.
Support: Assist attorneys with trial preparation, provide in‑court support, and prepare exhibits and trial binders.
The Must‑Haves Background: Bachelor’s degree required. This is a Mid‑Senior level position focused on litigation support.
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of litigation experience, with personal injury litigation experience required.
Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, experience using Filevine or comparable case management software, strong legal writing, organizational, and time management skills.
