Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acute Rehab RN to join our team in Ottumwa, IA. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nursing care to patients recovering from acute illnesses or injuries, ensuring safe and effective rehabilitation. This role requires a blend of clinical expertise, critical thinking, and a passion for improving patient outcomes in a supportive, team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in an acute rehabilitation setting.
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, reporting any changes promptly.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team, including physical, occupational, and speech therapists, to create and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and families on recovery processes and at-home care strategies.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory standards.
Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
Current Iowa RN license or eligibility for compact state licensure.
Current BCLS certification (Basic Cardiac Life Support).
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (acute care or rehab experience highly desirable).
Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Advanced certifications (ACLS) or willingness to obtain.
Prior experience in acute rehab , med-surg, or related clinical settings.
