The HR Manager will lead and coordinate HR initiatives that align with organizational goals. This role is responsible for overseeing key HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and HR policy development.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, development, and offboardingOversee payroll and benefits administrationServe as a trusted advisor to management on HR policies, best practices. employee relations, and employment law complianceDevelop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with organizational objectives and legal requirementsManage and administer compensation, benefits, and leave programsHandle conflict resolution and disciplinary matters while ensuring fairness and compliance with labor lawsSupport DEI initiatives and employee engagement programs that reflect the credit union’s commitment to inclusion and member serviceMaintain HRIS and personnel records, ensuring accuracy and confidentialityAnalyze HR metrics and provide reports and insightsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local labor regulations (e.g., FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEO).Required Skills and Competencies:Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related fieldsSHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP or equivalent certificationMinimum of five years of progressive Human Resources experience with two years experience in a management roleCredit Union experience preferredMust be able to manage tight deadlines, multiple priorities in a fast moving, constantly changing environmentExcellent knowledge of Human Resources laws and regulations including but not limited to FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOCHigh degree of professionalism and confidentialityStrong interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills, written and verbalMust be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
