Job Title - Remote Customs Entry Writer
FULLY REMOTE | On-site | Full Time | Direct Hire Placement
Pay - $28-31/hr, DOE + Bonus
Job Summary of the of the Remote Customs Entry Writer position
Integr8staff seeks a Customs Entry Writer for our client a transportation arrangement and international customs broker. Responsibilities of the Remote Customs Entry Writer position
Audit commercial documents, applying Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) code from the customer account HTS database for accurate duty assessment and ensuring all federal requirements are met.
Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for each customer on the correct method and data requirements for customs clearance.
Track and trace shipments and coordinate with steamship lines, freight forwarders and CFS on the availability of imported shipment.
Invoice customers for duty and entry charges.
Customs and customers.
Arrange for freight delivery of shipments.
Adhere to a high level of operational excellence with respect to on-time performance, accuracy, and customer service.
Requirements of the Remote Customs Entry Writer position
2+ years of experience in customs brokerage field as an entry writer.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work overtime during peak times and/or customer requirements modify.
