Legal - Paralegal - Remote

Join Our Team: Cable Huston is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our collaborative legal team. This position supports attorneys and paralegals in delivering high-quality legal services while helping maintain strong client relationships and efficient practice operations.

At Cable Huston, legal assistants are an integral part of our legal teams. As a client service-driven organization, our legal assistants are often the first point of contact for both internal and external clients. Their professionalism, collaboration, and commitment to excellence help our teams achieve exceptional results together.

Legal Assistants provide day-to-day support to attorneys and paralegals while working closely with clients and other team members to ensure timely and effective attention to legal matters. Cable Huston maintains a 40-hour workweek, typically Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. Following an initial training period, Legal Assistants are eligible for a hybrid work schedule of three days in the office and two days remote.

Legal Document Preparation and Processing

Draft, edit, and finalize routine to complex legal documents, correspondence, and forms.

Proofread and revise materials for grammar, spelling, punctuation, format, syntax, and accuracy.

E-file documents/pleadings in various State and Federal Courts

Document Management

Maintain and organize files, records, documents, and correspondence.

Significant experience supporting litigation attorneys

Knowledge of legal terminology, legal documents and legal processes. Strong computer proficiency and proficient usage of software: MS Office, document management, time entry, e-filing database software, DocuSign, Simplifile, and FilesAnywhere.

Superior attention to detail and organizational skills including filing, calendaring, and proofreading.
