RN, Nurse Lead, Full-time Day Shift - Surgery

This is a full‑time, benefited position as a Lead OR RN at Scripps Mercy San Diego. The shift is 3 days per week with a 12‑hour day shift. The candidate must have OR circulating experience specifically with Orthopedics, Neuro, and Spine surgery service lines, and will also support other lead services.

Incentive: $8,000 and a relocation incentive of $3,000 for eligible new hires.

Management and coordination of patient care within the Care Unit on a per shift basis, through implementation and integration of the nursing process, assignment and supervision of appropriate staff and collaboration with physicians.

Act as the Care Unit expert and provide functional direction to members of the OR patient care team.

Communicate with supply chain coordinators, vendors, surgeons, and charge RNs.

Assist other leads on projects.

Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.

California Registered Nurse License.

One (1) year of recent surgery or operating room RN experience in an acute care setting.

Orthopedics/Neuro/Spine surgery experience.

Ability to speak, read, and follow instructions in English.

Bachelor's degree in nursing.

3 years or more experience in nursing (preferred).
