Head of Product Development (m/w/d)

As a Manager within the Pharmacy Health Services, Product Development and Management, specifically the retail testing and prescribing team, you will lead initiatives that optimize performance, enhance patient outcomes, and support the development of new pharmacy and healthcare services across CVS Health. This includes managing testing strategies, evaluating operational models, ensuring regulatory alignment, and embedding patient safety as a core pillar in innovation.
Responsibilities Formally lead multiple teams in diagnosis, solution development, product development, and growth and innovations to support patients receiving tests at CVS Pharmacy.
Partner with key internal and external stakeholders, including lab partners, legal, digital and IT, and regulatory teams.
Develop field communication strategies, including best practices, coaching, training, and problem‑solving for root causes of process issues.
Required Qualifications 3+ years of full‑time experience in a retail and/or corporate environment with knowledge of retail pharmacy operations.
Proven ability to engage and inspire teams to deliver on both short‑term priorities and long‑term goals.
Continuous improvement and structured problem‑solving skills, including the ability to define business problems, develop strategic/analytical frameworks, and simplify processes to improve the colleague and customer experience.
Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of an EMR system (e.g., EPIC).
Experience in quality assurance, compliance, or clinical operations.
HIPAA, state pharmacy board rules, CMS guidance).
Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
The position is eligible for a bonus, commission, or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range.
