Hours per Shift: 12 hours

Must-Have: Charge nurse experience

Patients can include anything from ER boarded patients to tele, med-surg, etc. The nurse-to-patient ratio varies from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on unit acuity. Charge responsibilities apply on two small units in the facility. On those small units, the sole registered nurse functions as the Charge Nurse. Special procedures and unit details will vary by unit. Nurses may float between nearby facilities as needed. Candidates must request specific scheduling needs upfront during application. Inflexibility beyond the contracted schedule may lead to termination of contract. Medical, dental & vision insurance
