Location: The Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital, Columbus, OH
Start Date: 11/02/2026
End Date: 02/01/2027
Shift: Day shift; options include 3x12s (8a-8:30p) or 4x10s (10a-8:30p), with call requirements including every third-fourth weekend
Hours per week: 36-40 hours
Employment Type: Per diem, contract
Licensure/Certifications: Ohio RN license required; BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Experience: Minimum 2 years in PACU or related units, Epic experience required, charge nurse experience preferred
Pay & Benefits:
Pay rate: $59.18/hour

What You'll Do:
Provide high-quality post-anesthesia care for diverse cardiac and vascular patients
Monitor patient vital signs and recovery status following major surgeries such as CABG, AAA repair, TAVR, EVAR, and more
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic electronic health records
Support patient readiness for discharge and coordinate patient care transitions
Participate in call rotations and ensure coverage during scheduled shifts
Adhere to safety standards and hospital protocols throughout all patient interactions
What You Need:
Ohio RN license (required)
BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred
Minimum of 2 years of PACU or similar experience, with experience in Level 1 trauma/outpatient units preferred
Strong clinical skills in patient monitoring, emergency response, and electronic record keeping
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
