Head of Programme Management

Leidos' Defense Systems is seeking a talented Program Manager to join in on the cutting-edge working happening in our Indirect Fire Protection Capability/Force Protection Business Area. Solutions for Defense include enterprise and mission IT, large-scale intelligence systems, command and control, geospatial and data analytics, cybersecurity, logistics, training, and intelligence analysis and operations support. Provide leadership and direction for the day-to-day management of a large Army acquisition program

• Coordinate and oversee project activities, ensuring they align with program goals and objectives.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Monitor program performance and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure project success.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including DoD clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• Support the development and execution of risk management plans.
• Prepare and present program status reports and briefings to senior management and DoD clients.
• Ensure compliance with DoD regulations, policies, and procedures.

Ability to orchestrate cross functional teams to ensure high quality solutions are delivered from conception to launch
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university plus 12-15 years of relevant experience in the defense industry or Masters with at least 10-13 years of relevant experience in the defense industry.

• Proven experience in prototype development, test and support equipment development and operations and maintenance.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage complex projects, multitask, and prioritize effectively.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of professionals.
• Experience in risk management, including the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to the project.

Must be a US citizen possess and be able to maintain an active Secret security clearance.
