Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical
Schedule
Ratios: 1:6 (days, nights, weekends). Orientation: 24 hours on-unit. Weekend coverage required every other weekend.
Assignment Details
Contract length: not specified. Requested Time Off (RTO): Max 7 days per contract. Must work if major holidays fall during the assignment.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year RN experience.
RN licensure: Georgia or Compact license required.
BLS certification required.
Epic charting experience required.
Experience with med/surg nursing and remote telemetry.
Core clinical skills: peripheral line care, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions.
Responsibilities
Provide patient care to a diverse population, including adolescents through geriatrics.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team.
Monitor and assess patient conditions using remote telemetry.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient needs.
Participate in rapid response and code situations as necessary.

Compliance / Notes
All compliance documents due the Tuesday prior to start. Core items/labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing.
