Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with critical care and neonatal experience for a day shift travel assignment at a Level IV Trauma Center in Vernal, UT.
Details

• Respiratory Therapy department at a 39-bed acute care hospital designated as a Level IV Trauma Center, Stroke Receiving Facility, and Chest Pain Accredited facility with a 5-star CMS rating
• Treats all age groups including adults, geriatric, pediatric, and neonatal patients
• Common diagnoses and treatments include asthma, COPD, and premature infants
• Equipment includes ventilators, BiPAPs, Vapotherm, and infant nasal CPAP
• EMR: Medhost
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
• Schedule runs 6 days on, 8 days off
• Weekend hours are included in the standard weekly schedule
• No call or on-call requirements
• No float requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements
NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in respiratory therapy
Critical care and neonatal RT experience required
Ability to work independently in a smaller hospital setting
Current certifications required: BLS, PALS, NRP, and ACLS (AHA certifications required)
Social Security number required for consideration
Date of birth required for consideration
Active RT license required if applicable
Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
Additional Information
Provides general respiratory therapy services across all departments and age groups, including critical care and neonatal care
Must be comfortable working independently and adapting quickly in a fast-paced environment
Outgoing and friendly personality is expected given the team culture
Navy blue scrubs required; street clothes are not permitted
Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
