Human Resources Generalist, Payroll and Recruitment

The Corporate Human Resource Generalist will run various daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering payroll, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. This position reports to the Human Resources Director.

Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, and work assessments.

Ensure operational excellence in benefits administration, and HRIS management by maintaining accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Administer and manage employee leave programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, state-specific leave, and company-sponsored leave policies. Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified salaried job applicants for open positions; Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.

Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to hourly compensation, benefits, and leave; performance and talent management; and training and development.

Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.

At least five years HR Generalist experience required, including salaried recruiting; minimum of two years of human resource management experience preferred.

HR professional certification a plus.
