**REMOTE Insurance Defense Attorney**
Location: 100% Remote — Must be licensed & residing in Louisiana
Compensation: $130,000 – $200,000+ Base Salary (Commensurate with Experience) + Performance Bonus

A premier, defense-focused litigation practice in Louisiana is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join its growing team. Key Responsibilities:

Independently manage a caseload of insurance defense and general liability matters.
Handle all phases of litigation, from initial case evaluation and pre-suit investigation through discovery, depositions, mediation, and trial preparation.
Draft pleadings, motions, dispositive motions, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents.
Conduct and defend depositions involving plaintiffs, witnesses, experts, and corporate representatives.
Handle court appearances, hearings, mediations, and other litigation-related proceedings.
Qualifications & Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in good standing with the Louisiana State Bar .
• 2+ years of litigation experience , preferably in Insurance Defense, General Liability, Personal Injury Defense, or related practice areas.
• Experience handling discovery, depositions, motion practice, court appearances, and litigation strategy.
• Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage a caseload and work effectively in a 100% remote environment .
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 – $200,000. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
