Human Resources Rep - Recruitment

Job Description The DoubleTree by Hilton Colorado Springs is hiring a Human Resources Assistant-Culture Builder. The Human Resources Assistant with a culture focus combines traditional HR administrative duties with an emphasis on shaping and supporting a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture. · Administrative HR tasks: maintaining employee records, processing onboarding/offboarding, and supporting training efforts and compliance. ·
Culture-related activities: coordinating employee engagement programs, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, and supporting team-building or recognition events. · Data collection and reporting support: Recruitment and onboarding support: aiding in hiring processes and ensuring new hires are integrated into the company’s culture from day one.
Compensation: $19 - $20 hourly
Hiring Support: Post job ads, review resumes, set up interviews, and help with reference checks.
New Employee Onboarding: Prepare and process new-hire paperwork and run orientation sessions.
Update employee files, manage databases, and keep all private data safe.
Coordinate employee engagement programs, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, and support team-building or recognition events.
Answer basic employee questions and guide staff to the right HR manager.

Education: High school diploma or a bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.
Experience: Past work in an office or administrative support role, as well as event and program coordination for culture-building activities.
Computer Skills: Know how to use Microsoft Office and basic HR software.
Confidentiality: High level of trust to handle private employee information.
