Suburban Women's Health Specialists is a busy, patient-focused private OB/GYN practice seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our growing team.

Schedule varies depending on physician assignment and clinic location.

Have reliable transportation to travel between our Elgin and Algonquin office locations.

Be available to open the office as early as 7:30 AM .

Be available to close the office as late as 6:00 PM .

Be flexible with scheduling based on practice needs.

Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and play an essential role in creating a welcoming, organized, and positive experience from the moment they contact or visit our office.

This position requires exceptional customer service, professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask while working in a fast-paced OB/GYN practice.

Answer high-volume multi-line telephone calls promptly and courteously.

Schedule office visits, ultrasounds, procedures, and follow-up appointments.

Register new patients and update demographic and insurance information.

Scan and upload documents into the electronic medical record (ECW experience preferred).

Assist with general administrative duties to ensure efficient daily office operations.

Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment.

Previous medical receptionist experience in an OB/GYN, Women's Health, Family Practice, or other busy medical office.

Experience using Electronic Medical Records (ECW required).

Knowledge of medical terminology.

Bilingual (English/Spanish or Polish) is a plus.

Outstanding customer service and communication skills.

Excellent phone etiquette.

Strong computer skills.

Flexible and eager to learn
