Welder for Maintenance Shop

Container Welder/FabricatorThe Container Welder/Fabricator repairs, paints and performs maintenance to containers and roll-off boxes.Principal Responsibilities:Performs repairs and maintenance on front, rear and roll-off containersWeld steel and aluminum components using MIG and ARC welding equipmentFabricates steel components using a brake and shearCuts steel using a plasma cutter or torchFabricates steel components for hoppers, containers and compactorsInstalls lids and wheels on containersPaints repaired containersFollows all safety policies and proceduresCompletes required paperworkInstalls company and safety decals in accordance with company standard diagram on containers and roll-off boxesPerforms other job-related duties as assignedRefers more complex repairs to the SupervisorQualifications:Certified welderAdvanced knowledge of MIG & stick welders, plasma cutter, and airless paint sprayers.
