Job Description
Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Schedule
Variable shifts, including day and night shifts, with 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation. Scheduled 12-hour call at least once per month. No guarantee of hours or shift preference.
Assignment Details
Contract length is 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours per week are not specified.
Requirements
Active State of Hawaii nursing license required by start date.
Minimum of 3 years of labor and delivery nursing experience.
BLS and NRP certifications are required.
STABLE and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications are recommended.
Experience with Meditech computerized systems and GE/Centricity fetal monitoring systems preferred.
Responsibilities
Care for laboring mothers and assist with delivery.
Provide immediate care for newborns and postpartum care for mothers.

Compliance / Notes
Candidates must arrive the Thursday before the start in order to attend an employee health appointment on Friday. Please confirm availability for this timeline before accepting the start date.
