Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our outpatient clinic. The work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life integration. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized physical therapy services to each patient, tailoring approaches to meet their unique goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Manage a diverse case load, ensuring that each patient receives sufficient time and attention during their therapy sessions.
• Apply your extensive knowledge of orthopedic outpatient care to develop effective treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices.
• Incorporate cost-effective interventions to enhance patients' mobility, emphasizing rehabilitation techniques over surgical or medicinal interventions.
• Create and analyze comprehensive care plans that integrate various therapeutic methods, continually adapting tactics based on patient progress.
• Design and implement functional fitness and wellness programs that cater to the specific requirements of diverse patient demographics.
• Motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive mindset toward achieving their health goals.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment efficacy, documenting all services rendered with precision in Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically using Web PT.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive care team dedicated to improving patient outcomes.
• Maintain thorough documentation and records of each treatment session to support ongoing therapy and future evaluations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, musculoskeletal injuries, and chronic pain conditions. The role demands sensitivity and skill in treating a diverse patient population, including athletes, seniors, and individuals with varying physical abilities. As a physical therapist, you will play a crucial role in counseling patients on lifestyle modifications that promote overall health and well-being.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• An active and unencumbered Physical Therapist license in Florida.
• Exhibit a clean professional record, with no history of sanctions or disciplinary action.
• Demonstrate mastery in manual therapy techniques and a solid foundation in evidence-based physical therapy practices.
• Proficient use of EMR software, particularly Web PT, for accurate patient documentation.
• Stay informed of current advancements in physical therapy methodologies to provide the highest level of care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, particularly in managing post-operative recovery cases.
• Successful history of developing and implementing individualized rehabilitation and wellness programs.
• Previous involvement in multidisciplinary team collaborations to optimize patient care.
• Familiarity with community health resources, allowing for comprehensive patient support and follow-up.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
