Head of Programme Management

Join our team as a Program Manager supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Security and Emergency Management Directorate. In this role, you’ll lead high-impact security operations that protect critical personnel, facilities, and missions across the MDA enterprise. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of a dynamic, multi-site program and play a key role in national security initiatives.

On-site role based at Schriever Space Force Base (Colorado Springs, CO) with travel as needed.

Lead and oversee security operations across multiple regional sites

Supervise and support staff to maintain high performance and contract compliance

Manage budgets, reporting, and operational planning to meet program goals

Partner with MDA leadership, customers, and internal teams to deliver top-tier service

Conduct site assessments and support security planning for events and operations

Ensure training, readiness, and adherence to current security procedures

Respond to incidents and support emergency operations as needed

Bachelor’s degree in security, law enforcement, management, or related field (or equivalent experience)

10+ years of experience in security or law enforcement operations, including supervisory roles

Active Secret Clearance required, with eligibility to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance

Proven experience managing programs or sites of similar size and complexity

Strong background in operations, budgeting, and decision-making at a leadership level

Ability to travel domestically and internationally (passport required)

PMP certification preferred

Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead teams effectively

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
