Job Summary
Qualifications:
- H.S. Diploma
- Child Development Credential (CDA)
- 9 hours of approved coursework in child development or Early Childhood Education from a regionally accredited Institution.
Responsibilities:
Perform assigned duties from the director and lead teacher.
Work with individual or small groups to reinforce skills introduced by the teacher.
Perform clerical and record-keeping duties as assigned by the director and lead teacher.
Handle discipline as directed by the director and teacher.
Operate and care for equipment and materials used in assignments.
Report to the teacher any problem or special information about students.
Keep all information concerning school business, students, and personnel confidential.
Refrain from giving orders to or expressing judgment of teachers or other employees.
Collect anecdotal notes on standards that are taught.
Annual Calendar Days: 9 Months (187 Days, 7.5 hours/day.)
