RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Schedule
Weekly hours: Can sign for 36 or 48 hours/week
Shift options: Confirm shift in submittal (e.g., 3x12, 4x12)
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks
Requirements

• Minimum 2 years ICU experience required
• Travel RN experience: Required
• Previous charge experience: Preferred
• Trauma experience: Level II required; Level I preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Experience with the charting system: Epic (required)
• Strong cardiac knowledge required

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a multidisciplinary ICU setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, utilizing advanced medical techniques.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including titration of vasoactive drips.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Execute emergency interventions as needed, ensuring patient safety and stability.
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to provide relevant patient information.

Compliance / Notes

• Orientation: 36 hours
• Pre-approved time off: Two requests allowed
• Facial hair must allow proper fit testing (may be required to shave)
• Monthly parking passes available (contact Public Safety)
