Registered Nurse - Travel - Rehab - Day Shift

American Traveler is seeking an Inpatient Rehab RN with an active IL RN license and at least 1 year of rehab, LTAC, or inpatient med/surg experience.

Requirements Active IL RN license in hand
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of experience required; Rehab or LTAC experience accepted, inpatient med/surg experience preferred
Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers with 2+ years of experience may be considered
Nursys report required at submission, pulled within the last 2 weeks
No license actions or hits allowed

Responsibilities Inpatient Rehab unit setting
Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 6:45 PM
13-week assignment length
Patient ratio of 1:7
Utilizes skills in respiratory care including nasal cannula, oxygen administration, and tracheostomy care/management
Provides IV therapy and peripheral line care/management
Performs cardiac monitoring and emergency response, including use of Rapid Response/Code teams
RTO limited to no more than 3 days, and no RTO permitted during the first or last week of the contract
Any block scheduling or special schedule requests must be submitted and discussed prior to offer acceptance
Former UCM, PRN, or Ingalls permanent staff must have separated from employment for at least 7 months before returning as a traveler
Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
Non-billable orientation modules (2-3 hours) required, varying by profession
