Senior Manufacturing Engineer

You will be the Senior Manufacturing Engineer for the Manufacturing Engineering group. Our team is responsible for delivering precise work instructions, advancing process automation, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. What you will be doing as the Senior Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for converting complex designs into actionable production guidance and enhancing manufacturing efficiency across missile-defense programs. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Translate engineering blueprints and parts lists into clear work instructions.

Develop and implement process automation and advanced manufacturing techniques.

Lead root-cause corrective actions and Lean Six Sigma improvement projects.

Design and optimize processes to reduce cost, improve quality, and accelerate delivery.

This position is in Orlando. Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Clear. Basic qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, or Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Position requires 3+ years of experience with a related Bachelor's degree or a related Master's degree. Desired skills include experience writing technical work instructions, ability to work in a cross functional, teaming environment, detailed knowledge of GD&T SAP, knowledge of Lean Six Sigma manufacturing concepts and techniques, CREO/ProE experience with a focus on tool design, experience working with electro-mechanical and/or optical assemblies, and experience working in a manufacturing environment.
