Respiratory Therapist

The Respiratory Therapist provides specialized respiratory care to patients, performing both independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team. The role involves assessing patient needs, delivering prescribed therapies, and evaluating responses to ensure optimal respiratory health.

Assess patient conditions and interpret physician orders to develop appropriate respiratory care plans.

Administer and monitor respiratory therapies, including invasive procedures with minimal supervision.

Communicate effectively with the clinical team to provide insights and recommendations on respiratory interventions.

Hold an Associate degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited program.

Possess or be eligible for Kansas respiratory license; current Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from NBRC required.

Demonstrate at least 1 year of respiratory care experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
