Job OverviewThe Director of Collaborations & Special Projects will be responsible for operationalizing and ensuring execution of impactful Enterprise and Private Brand Collaborations and Private Brand Special Projects with precision, lead effective cross functional collaboration, and drive alignment across a fast-paced merchandising organization. What You Will DoStrategic Vision & Opportunity Identification:Identify strategic whitespace opportunities that enhance our brand's cultural relevance, brand love, and new customer acquisition.Continuously monitor global trends, cultural shifts, and emerging voices across fashion, design, art, music, and entertainment to inform future initiatives.Framework Development & Project Management:Build and implement a robust framework for end-to-end project management specific to collaborations and special projects.Manage strategic projects from inception to completion, meticulously tracking timelines, deliverables, and critical paths to ensure successful and on-time execution.Manage budgets and internal resources effectively to deliver high-impact campaigns with a positive return on investment (ROI).End-to-End Collaboration & Initiative Leadership:Lead the entire lifecycle of collaborations and special projects, from initial concept development, contract negotiation, and all touchpoints across all cross functional teams through final launch.Ensure seamless execution of all collaboration launches and special projects by driving clear communication, shared understanding, and alignment across all stakeholders.Drive comprehensive marketing and launch execution plans in partnership with relevant teams.Private Brand Special Projects Build and Implement Private Brand Colleague and Stores Education Lead Entire Lifestyle of Private Brand Special Projects such as partnerships with FIT and FSFFoster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities. A builder of engaged and highly functional teams and partnerships, passionate about our work and focused on developing and coaching design team with ability to identify, engage and motivate talent.Collaborative style adept at establishing trust and building relationships across all levels and functions of the organization.Comfortable with taking risks and celebrating risk-taking regardless of outcome.Who You AreBachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or universityIdeally, 5-plus years of experience in retail, buying or an experience in an online and ecommerce merchandising environment.This role involves performing essential job functions such as communication, collaboration, and use of office and computer systems.
