Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Anchorage, Alaska. This role involves working on a stepdown unit from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), serving a diverse patient population with a focus on cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and complex medical-surgical cases. The position employs a co-care/virtual nursing model, requiring collaboration with a virtual RN and bedside staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.

Valid Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand required for auto-offer.

Prior experience in a stepdown, telemetry, or ICU setting with knowledge of cardiac telemetry, blood product administration, and advanced airway management.

Float within scope to lower acuity units, renal care, neuro, and medical-surgical areas may be required.

Unit is a Magnet recognized facility, Level II Trauma, with 407 beds.

Unit utilizes Philips monitors and Massimo capnography.

Must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.

Candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility location.
