Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Job Coach for the Center for Adult Autism Services.
Works within the instructional setting under the supervision of a behavior analyst to support the vocational and recreational goals of adults with autism.
Provides direct care to adults with autism in a variety of settings and contexts (e.g., community, vocational, recreational, center-based, etc.).
Implements ABA instructional and behavior reduction programming as is appropriate under the supervision of a BCBA.
Collects and maintains data to support progress monitoring of skill acquisition and behavior reduction programming.
This may involve the preparation of instructional materials, the creation/maintenance of data storage systems (e.g., 19.71/hourly
The final salary offer may be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's qualifications, experience, and expertise, and availability of department or grant funds to support the position. Temporary Staff Appointment - Hourly
High School diploma or an equivalent combination of education and/or 4 years of relevant experience.

Ability to work well with adults with autism that have significant educational, physical, and/or behavioral support needs.
Ability to complete training in crisis management.
Ability to complete accurate service documentation and billing notes in accordance with insurance requirements.
Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Equipment Utilized
Standing and walking for extended periods, working outdoors, ability to follow safety procedures.
