Human Resources Generalist, Payroll and Recruitment

Branch Chief (Policy and Quality Assurance Branch), under the Division of Human Resources and Professional Development (HRPD), Human Resources Operations (HRO).

This position supports the mission of HRO which delivers core HR services, to include payroll, compensation, policy, staffing, position classification, benefits, and on-boarding. The Division's orientation is operational and focused on day-to-day processes associated with recruiting talent and maintaining the existing workforce.

To qualify for the Supervisory Human Resource Specialist position gs#14, you must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

Minimum Qualifications

Specialized experience

is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume.

To qualify for this position at the GS-14 grade level, candidates must meet the following specialized experience by the closing date of this announcement. EXPERIENCE: Candidates must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) (obtained in either the public or private sectors). This experience must include all of the following :

Applying knowledge of Federal human resources management statutes, regulations, policies; AND

Applying a wide range of HR principles to perform quality assurance and quality control service concepts, regulations, and practices; AND

Leading or advising on enterprise-wide human capital initiatives requiring coordination across multiple organizational components, interpretation of ambiguous guidance, and development of defensible human resources policies and procedures.
