MLT - Medical Laboratory

Conduct both routine and advanced laboratory analyses-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-adhering to established protocols.
Assess results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
Assist with the collection of specimens and prepare samples for testing as required.
Document all processes meticulously, train new team members or students, and help maintain quality standards within the lab.
Ensure a clean and secure working environment while aligning with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of employment.
