Description - Your Role

• Conduct a variety of clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-adhering to established protocols.
• Ensure result accuracy by analyzing data, troubleshooting any anomalies, and performing regular maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for necessary tests when required.
• Keep meticulous records of all procedures, provide training to new staff or students, and contribute to the upholding of lab quality standards.
• Foster a clean and secure work environment in compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain valid certification throughout your tenure.
