Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Laboratory Technician

Overview Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital, located in Virginia Beach, VA, is hiring a full‑time night shift Laboratory Technician (1030p–700a). The position reports to the Clinical Laboratory Manager and involves performing laboratory tests, interpreting results, documenting and reporting findings, and maintaining department equipment, instruments, and tools. Work Details Location: Virginia Beach, VA Shift: Night (10:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) Responsibilities Perform a broad range of laboratory tests according to established protocols. Interpret test results and document findings in the patient record. Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments. Follow safety procedures and compliance requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Biology, or Chemical Science. Associate’s degree in Medical Technology acceptable with additional experience.
