What You Will Be Doing

• Conduct both routine and advanced laboratory analyses-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-adhering to established protocols.
• Assess results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist with the collection of specimens and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Document all processes meticulously, train new team members or students, and help maintain quality standards within the lab.
• Ensure a clean and secure working environment while aligning with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Needed

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
