Legal Assistant
Our distinguished client is one of the most prestigious and highly-awarded law firms in the Carolinas. They are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support a busy team of two attorneys and paralegals across multiple litigation-focused practice areas, including insurance coverage, auto accidents, product and premises liability, employment, and admiralty law. This is a dynamic role within a well-established, full-service law firm that values professionalism, collaboration, and strong client service.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected firm with a collaborative team environment and a strong reputation in the legal community. Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys and paralegal in a fast-paced litigation practice
Draft, proofread, and format legal correspondence and documents
Organize, file, and maintain legal documents (both paper and electronic files)
Assist with document preparation and filings, including pleadings, discovery, and motions
Perform general office tasks, including billing assistance, document scanning, and data entry
3–5 years of legal assistant experience, preferably in litigation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat and ProLaw is a plus
